This is what we're going to use for the audition for Welkin Gunther. It's long enough, and I forsee Welkin saying more random junk like this in the future. Once we get some Welkin candidates, I'll have that person read opposite tryouts for Alicia when they go back and forth. We'll try and do this in either Ventrilo or Skype, whatever is more convenient.
Start recording. If you can, save it as an mp3 or other easily-used format. Please, use Audacity to record. Upload these files (in a .rar, if you can, best compression) to mediafire.com
I suggest you watch the scene in which Welkin says this a couple of times, to get the right feel for the line.
I suppose I should have elaborated on how this will work.
What I'd like to do is take in auditions for Welkin based on the above, and then have the ones that might fill the role read with people auditioning for Alicia, so we can get a feel for what combination would work best (given the relationship which comes in to play later in the series), and then we have those two filled. For other characters, especially Isara early on, we can have our Welkin and/or Alicia read with them in a scene.
And another note, we're not trying to be like the cast from the game. That would be pretentious and a cheap imitation at best. I'd like for you to read the character description for whoever you're auditioning for, and give me your idea of what they should sound like.
