Would anyone be interested in doing it? With the release of the first two subbed episodes, we have a script to work from, we know the characters (or should, at least), and all we need to do is record the audio.
Unfortunately, the cast list is going to be HUGE, but for the first two episodes, we don't need more than 6 at the most, less if people playing major characters will do the voices for extras.
So, with that said, is anyone interested in doing it? If anyone is interested, I'll go grab some lines from the first couple episode that people can use for their audition tapes.

As interested as I am, my deep voice doesn't really fit any of the characters in VC (not even the vegetable freak)
I could, however, change my voice to maybe be the main antagonist, I'll need to practice.

i would be interested in giving it a try. but to do it properly we will need a decent number of female members for it as well, which could be a hassle (myself can be a bit fuss over inadequate female voice acting)...
if this thing takes off, wonder which one of us here would be doing voice for jann then......XD

If you guys didn't know yet,
Jann's dub voice is the guy who voiced Bender from Futurama and one of the commentary guys from MadWorld. xD

Don't think we should be singing.........simply because that would require some editing of the lyrics in order to fit into the melody. Even so, I still would prefer the original japanese songs. and i like your voice there zekana As for female voice actors, there are PLENTY of female members on the forums. The only problem is if they're interested or not. that's my biggest concern, that and finding suitable voices for all of the characters. for example, I don't want Marina to sound like a robot. |

Well, when it first came up, we thought it would be a 4PP project, which is entirely easy to do for the first couple episodes, but with episode 3 seeing Largo, Rosie and so many other characters, I'm thinking we're gonna need randoms. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. As for the songs, unless the more musically-talented people here are interested, and can find an instrumental of the song, I think we should just use the Japanese opening, or no opening at all. Also, it just occurred to me that it's going to take longer to read the lines for an English dub than a Japanese dub, which means the animations might not match up. We're going to have to figure out how to edit it so that it's not obvious we're lengthening or shortening a clip, but also make it fit the dialogue. |

I assume the type of mic to record the voices will play an important role. Like, you probably don't want a recording of someones voice on a mic where you can hear the mic despite no one talking.
For example, when someone records their voice you can hear a noise, it isn't any noise but rather a "deaf" like noise the mic makes when you record.
Unless you don't care about that.
