No thread for the next podcast yet. So, here we go!
Post your questions for Podcast #99.
My question: Dylan from California (Darknezz in chat)
What was the last game you played that, when you put it down, you just said, "Wow. That game was amazing."?

As gamers do you think the gaming industry is getting stale producing the same genres (FPS, JRPG, WRPG, etc) and sequels (Zelda, Metroid, Mario etc) or do you have hope for the industry to create a new genre or a new mascot?

question from: Alexander from Newport Organ (spartan1012 on chat)
As a gamer is there any story or setting or mechanics you would like to be turned into a game that hasn’t happened or at least not recently.
Example: a Western RPG set in fuddle Japan or a moral choice system less between good evil or what side you really think is right.
(oh and my gamer name spartan1012 comes from way before halo even came out)

Do you guys think that Capcom will dominate the fighting game series with Street Fighter 4 or will it become another obsolete series like Street Fighter III? Will Capcom release more "revised" series like what they did to SF2 and SF3?
Another question: With the Playstation 3's price tag being reduced by around $200 on this spring, will this help gather more sales for the time being?

Have you considered expanding 4Player Podcast and becoming partners with another gaming website? Or do you plan to remain seperate?

question: Personally, I really HATE the new trend in gaming (genre's like FPS, RPGs) which is the fact that you cannot DIE in some games. In games like Banjo and LBP its perfectly fine, but in Prince of Persia and Fable II, i think its not needed and does not add to the game. So what do you think about this new "trend" in recent games? Does it fit, or does it fail?

Q: Not really the greatest question, but have you guys heard of the Afro Samurai game? If so, what do you think of it?

My question is: Are there any games that you would like to see remade during the 2009 year that deserve a remake?

I was having a discussion with a friend over whether or not he should buy a PS1 for 20-25 dollars from another friend of ours. He has a PS2 but wanted it for the novelty factor. Personally, I would rather play on the more up to date hardware as it is just easier for me then trying to hook up even more consoles and running the risk of having them break on me as time goes on. I'm curious to know if you guys feel the same, or would rather play a game on its original console if possible.

Do you think silent hill will ever change its venue or will we be visiting the same disturbing town again in the next game?

Do you think the current status of our economy is limiting the amount of fresh IP's coming out?

The standards of graphics in games are at an all time high as of now, developers are time and time again trying to push the veil of graphical quality of games even going as far as pushing the game itself for it's graphics (eg. heavy rain, god of war 3, metal gear solid).
Open question, Do you think the graphics of the entire game industry will have some sort of limit or height it can no longer reach? or will graphics continually be a push or game promotion regardless of how good or bad the gameplay will be? Does graphics in this day and age matter just as much as it did when say, FF7 or ocarina of time came out and blew minds of that era.

My question: After watching people try to play the xbox 360 demo in my workplace by waggling the controller, What are your opinions on the success of the Wii?
