My question is, in today's market is a video game's success measured by the brand history (previous titles of the same name) and the people who made it. I would love to see some more independent developers bring something fresh to the table but there doesn't seem to be enough money for them or time for that matter. Has industrialism impacted the variety of games we can enjoy today? Thanks

From watching Brad play Far Cry 2, he noticed that the characters' dialog is horrible, as if they're talking in a run-on sentence. I assume that they are not happy with their paychecks. My question is, have you guys ever played any games with horrible dialogs like Far Cry 2?

Microsoft cut a deal with bethesda to make fallout 3 dlc exclusive, along with valve making updates for TF 2 updates for 360 only as well, i only own a ps3, but im finding that making things like exclusive dlc for a multiplatform game greedy and alienates people not lucky enough to own an opposing console and therefore are screwed.
How do you feel about this, good, bad, or irrelavent?

Do you believe that the increase in mainstream popularity of games will be beneficial in the future by providing a stable finacial base for developers so that they may take more risks with games , or do you think it will only help to stale the development of new ideas by making succesful games too big of a monopoly to allow new ideas to spread. ? In other word's, do you think that the game industry will befall to the same problems the music industry did with the advent of bubbelgum relativistic post-sub cultural pop.?

My question is for Brad: When Crystal Dynamics took over the development process for the Tomb Raider series from Core, several driving gameplay elements were scraped in the process of giving the series new narrative and style.
My question for you is what was your favorite aspect of the original Tomb Raiders that wasn't translated into the new continuity, and do you think it would make any newer installments more enjoyable if it were implemented effectively into the new games?

Q: If you would make a fps game, would you make it by shooting soldiers, or any monsters/beasts?
All the new first person games (except l4d) are all about wars, marines, soldiers, any war related thing!? The old fps that kill monsters, aliens, dinos are better.

Okay, in recent games it seems alot of games are just copying things from other games but never really advancing their concepts any, so my question is as follows.
If you had to pick any game mechanic that is over used, what would be your original way to improve upon it?
E.G. Taking away regenerating healthbars in games and in its place adding a more in depth healing system like in MGS3, or Call of Cthulu, or perhaps adding in a Trauma Center type Minigame to patch up yourself when you are out of combat.

Sony stated that the ps3 was going to be a ten year system, considering Microsoft will probably announce a new system in the next few years, would you want the ps3 to last that long, or would you rather sony release a new system in say the next five years?
