I am getting pretty tired of seeing threads get locked (rabbe) its pretty annoying when you're joking around with someone about the topic and then BAM! It's locked. yeah, i agreeeeeee whats wrong with having fun? i mean, thats all we are doing. theres never anything inappropriate. why does it have to be on topic? we had the "Random Discussion Thread"...but that magically disappeared... Talk to travis about that, dont bring this shit down on me. |

My experience with all the mods has been a good one. I've found that they are pretty good and on the ball in their duties.  |

Look, If you're an outright jerk and that's all you plan to be you're going to get the boot. A few people signed in here for one reason and one reason only and it was obviously known and recognized that they only signed in to be a horses a** to the people in both chat and forum. They were removed because they refused to change. Weither inquisition was just being a smart mouth or what does not excuse him for being a butt and trolling around the forums. Another example would be reeut, he took it upon himself to publicly attack darknezz for no other reason but because he loved it per him. He was removed for his harsh posts.
Btw, that quote that he posted I didn't think was funny and no one except for him thought my fit was hilarious. There are times when you shouldn't be a smart mouth. And that was one of them.
Now on to the locked threads. Some of these threads should be locked and stayed locked for the following reasons.
1)If there's no reason to go any further (there's nothing left to say, it's already been said and done)
2) It's a stupid, retarded ridiculous thread (i've disposed of most of my dumb threads)
3) If the thread is full of hate and continuous fighting over something.
4) The Thread creator requests the powers that be it to be locked.
So far those are the only reasons I can think of.
As far as spammers go, there will always be spammers. You can try all you want to change them and their views but there will always be a select few that will ignore you.

most mods dont do their job. when they do they play favorites. im not just saying this because of what happened today between me, yaga, and cocyx, but i have seen this happen REPEATEDLY and to be honest, im sick of the f**king mods playing favorites. there are some good mods, and a few bad mods. i've seen a few play favorites too [i'm not the only one] and it really is infuriating to see an argument going on, and then see one person get TO'd, but not the other. all because the one person has mod friends. it's unfair to everyone in the chat, and it shouldn't happen. i also had a few run in's with a chat "regular" who everyone seems to like, but has been nothing but rude to me, and one time it was just downright insulting. but the mod in the room let it slide, because they were friends. and the insult wasn't even warranted, because i wasn't even talking to that person, nor was i talking about them. i was discussing a game with someone, and the insult came out of nowhere. and they let it slide, even when i [and others] pointed it out. it's not right. most of the mods are fair, and just [example: vensito and dave.] but theres a few that shouldn't really be mods if they're going to continue playing favorites. |
