When I go into 4pp chat it seems I can't type.
I don't know if anyone else is having these problems, but I would like to know what's going on. It can't be the maintence on jtv because I can type in all the other channels.
I've tried just about everything- restarting my computer, shutting it down, logging out of jtv- nothing is helping. If you know what's going on or have an idea of how to resolve it please tell me, I'd appreciate it very much.
But I'm gonna say bye for right now. If my problem does get resolved you'll see me around. If not...well...you know.

I have to go to aim type my sentence copy and then paste it in chat.
Not a fun and easy way of talking in there -_-

Yeah someone's given me a tip. You have to go somewhere, where you can type. Type the sentence and copy/paste it. The next time you want to talk it allows you unless you click out of the chat, or text box.
That's what I'm doing right now. :\ Its time consuming, but hell of a lot better than not being able to talk.

I just left tbh, I really don't want to bother with having to go to AIM, type what I want to say, copy then paste it. Especially if I want to have a convo with someone  |

My problem is that I can't actually get access to chat and JTV has 500 errors all over the place right now.

i have a problem at the minute if its the same problem there is a thing i do to sort of fix it. it is were i right click the bit were you type your message then just hit random letters then suddenly i will be able to type maybe try and see if it works

I've had this problem all the time. Every time I go and pause/start the feed, or switch the volume when I go back to the chat box it doesn't really work. The way I've fixed it is that I clicked on the address bar once and then clicked the chat box. I hope that helps somehow.

Yeah I have the same problem also. What I do is just right click where you would normally type and then click on delete. That seems to work for me.

same for me, whenever i change the volume chat craps out on me. refreshing the page usually fixes it but j.tv has been jacked up lately (more than usual i mean)

Yeah, I figured it was just a jtv thing, but what I don't get is the fact 4pp is the only place I'm having this retarded problem. I really hope it get's resolved cause its a bitch to have to right click and then type. Sometimes that doesn't even work and I have to go somewhere to type then copy/paste. -_- Not exactly what I had in mind for fun.

Actually I was in a different chat room last night and someone had the same problem. They couldn't type in one chatroom but they could type in all the others. It's not just 4PP, it's just some glitch with the site that hopefully will be fixed soon if enough people complain about it.
