Are you looking forward to it as much as Brad is or are you kind of on edge about it? Why do you like or dislike it? What are your most favorite or less favorite features?

I'm definitely excited about it. Of course, that's mostly because it's a Platinum Games game... and dang, I love those guys so much. Over the course of their games, I've come to find that they're just awesome at fine-tuning gameplay to an extent where everything feels just right.
Probably the biggest indicators that they're continuing this trend is the ability to cancel-dodge out of any move and to move into slow-mo if you dodge at the last second. Brad's already said this stuff on the broadcast, but I think it stands repeating.
First, cancelling out of moves with a dodge means you won't be sitting around to wait for a boss or enemy to attack, nor will you have to refrain from attacking because you'll be vulnerable for too many frames after the attack's done. Rather, you'll just need to watch the enemies and dodge out of the way. This means you can attack more, but also that boss attacks are probably going to wind up coming pretty fast, so you'll need a quick eye and quick fingers to successfully dodge. That means the difficulty will probably be ramped up a bit, but also that combat will feel smooth once you get the hang of it.
Second, slow-mo dodging... well, it's really a continuation of being to dodge cancel. However, it expands on the concept by giving you a reward for waiting until the last second to move out of the way. It's a fairly logical risk to take. You can wind up fitting in more attacks, and being able to slow down the world for a bit after dodging is just plain cool. Do it right, and it should feel very satisfying.
As I'm writing this, I'm watching that Bayonetta combo trailer. I now have another reason to be happy. Looks like there are lots of different combos depending on how you press the different attacking buttons, and each combo has a very different area that they can hit... it's not just all the same animation repeated ad infinitum. Always nice.
But yeah, for all my mindless blathering above, I'm mainly excited because it's Platinum Games at work here. They're good at making incredibly refined gameplay. It's what they do. That alone is enough to get me excited.

I'm excited about it personally. It shows a lot of promise it seems like there are many combos to bring about the destruction of your foes! The fighting looks... artistic. It's beautifully executed, and every detail is paid attention to.

The first sexy female game where I will not be embarrassed to buy because the sheer awesomeness of the game will override it.

I honestly can't wait. Like brad, it's one game i'm really fucking excited for. It's great with badass male characters, being cool (Dante, Kratos, Ryu) but whooping ass with a female.. erm Woman badass, just makes it more unique and personally, i love it.

I'm excited about it. When I first heard about it, I thought it looked cool, but nothing special. But once I saw gameplay of it, I was instantly hooked. It all looks so awesomely smooth... Then Brad started to put up all the Bayonetta-love posts, and now its on my list of games I'll definitely be looking into this year.

I'm gonna be the loser here and say I'm NOT excited for it. Doesn't look like anything special to me, so I'm not head over heels about it. Definately not going to buy it. Possibly borrow it from a friend, but not spending money on that.

I didn't care for it until I saw that combo video. It looks so flashy and outrageous that its so cool. Combat looks pretty simple yet deep at the same time.

i just recently got the PS3 console so there hasn't been any games that i've wanted lately.
the fighting looks amazing and the plot seems interesting so i'm really looking forward to this game. The whole idea of guns (or bazookas) being her foot accessories was really cool too.

It looks really interesting. I love hack and slash games, and Devil May Cry was amazing. This game looks like a fresh, unique twist to the whole thing, and I just love the sheer amounts of style they're putting into this game!
Yeah, I can't wait.
Can't say for sure if it's a day one purchase for me, will have to see how much money I have. But it's definitely a rent.
