The big "Oh no" moment. Where things were really tough and you only want to do it once. But then something BAD happens and you die unexpectedly, and you do it all over again. I hate these moments D:
My moment was in Space Invaders (lol) a couple weeks ago, I was on the last level and the boss was |--______________| health, and BOOM I died! Firery death is not welcomed.

My moment was RE4 in the water room of the castle, I put the disc back in the case and threw it against my wall.

These often happen in RPGs for me. Usually i havent saved in a long time cause I'm just grinding or what not. I'm pretty confident that there is nothing threatening in the area, nothing that can really kill me.
And then I run into a Malboro that casts Bad Breath and all of a sudden my most powerful character is killing off my other guys because of confusion, but I can't stop him because I can never remember the item that cures confu and my healer is silenced.
Getting situations like that under control is always a rush.

Playing through GTA: San Andreas. I began where I left of at Body Harvest (Combine Harvester level for The Truth). I played hours upon hours of the game in one sitting, all the way up to the level The Meat Business in Las Venturas. It's getting dark outside, so I decided that I'd take a long break now since I've been playing it non stop. I get up, take a big stretch and switch off my PS2. Sadly (And this is the piss taker), I didn't save the game AT ALL throughout that entire playthrough. A whole day of my life wasted. Oh oh? More like, "OH F*CKING SH*T NOOO!"
I haven't played SA ever since.

Mine was in FF9 during the final boss fight. My game randomly crashed and I never played through it again.

I was on a level grinding frenzy in persona 3. It was almost an hour since I last saved. Bumped into a battle and one of the monsters used a one-hit kill light spell, and it killed off my entire party. I was quiet for a while in disbelief and proceeded with a "wtf?" After that happened, I learned to always save after a few battles because you never know what kind BS those monsters can pull off in persona 3.

RE4,thought it would be cool if I got grabbed by the el gigantite in the lava room. Turns out I was so pissed I had to redo the battle 21 times..

I once played Monster Hunter (I can't remember which one) and I'm having enough trouble fighting off the small raptor-like dinosaurs, but as I'm fighting a group of them, I see a winged shadow pass over the combat area. I start getting worried, but decide that I need to focus on the raptors or else they'll gang up on me.
Seconds later I hear a huge THUMP and I rotate the camera to see a dragon charging at me. No prizes for guessing how I fared

The Elite Four in Pokemon Diamond. Maybe I was just rusty, but It took me 40 or so tries at them. I got the champion to like 10 health, and then his Lucario used a shadow ball or something and totally annihilated my Gyrados.

oh jeez, I totally forogt about the Elite 4. I remember it for the first game. It took me a while, but I finally beat, Im pretty sure his name was Lance or something, he had the dragon type pokemon. I'm down to my last Pokemon, Blastoise. so I defeat him and holy crap I'm happy, but then what's this, I have to defeat the Rival... wtf!
