Well, this has been on my mind for a while and I felt like posting this.
All my friends have been saying this will be a awesome game.
What do you think? Vote and post why you think.

The game is made by VALVE. (Makers of TF2, Half-Life, and Portal.)

im still not so sure about it, the multiplayer sounds a little bland, and the single player will be a true nightmare without a friend

Yarp, I am getting myself a copy and I'm strictly playing co-op.  But damn... fast mutants/zombies  I hope my teammates won't run off and start lone wolfing over xbl. |

I really dont know if I'll pick it up or not.
I know it will be a well made game, since it's made by Valve, but I'm still on the fence.

I am definitely getting this game the day it's released...if not, atleast the damn week! I've been patiently waiting for this game for about almost two years now!
...I believe it was announced back in late 2006, right? XD Excuse me if I'm wrong in thinking this, time flies way too damn fast.

No "It looks good, but I don't plan on buying' option? The thing is, I have no doubt that it'll be a fun, solid run 'n gun co-op game. But from all the gameplay video's and trailers I've seen, it's going to be just that. If all you're doing is shooting zombies for 5-10 hours its going to get repetitive fast (As mad as that sounds, its true). There doesn't seem to be enough variety overall, which is wierd because the Half Life games always have tons of it. Even the co-op side of it looks a little basic and standard when compared to other team based co-op games (Team mate goes down on floor, go to them and heal, carry on shooting. Rince and repeat). I've also read that friendly fire is fully on. In a game where you have 3 human partners/bots, close corridor areas and a sh*t load of infected running at full speed towards you, that's a terrible gameplay choice.
Or, you know, everything I just said could be bollocks and the game will turn out to be truly amazing. Maybe I should just wait until reviews and personal opinion of people who've played it start to come out. Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling it a bad game. I even look forward to watching 4PP play L4D once it's released. But to me, it just doesn't look like my type of game.

Yeah i'm buying this on release. I can't wait to get into co-op with my friends and just splatter my pants while shooting hordes of zombies down.

I've actually put thought into Cosmic's opinion, really. The game does look really damn good, but there was always that fear that it'd just get boring after awhile. Yes, I know, I have been waiting QUITE a while to get my hands on the game, but many people have said that Counter Strike is nothing but repetitive action, but I always have fun with that, so who knows? Maybe I'm just an idiot and I'll enjoy the ride out, XD.
I guess it's good I'm getting it for free? Haha
