to be honest i think this game could be a victim of over hype. sure it is fun to go around shooting zomies but i dont think this one is going to be all that good. but multiplayer could prove me wrong

I watched the EA conference tonight, I must admit, I'm a little bit more excited for this game, but its on the lower end of my buying list.

Lots of games coming out this fall.

something about this game just doesn't seem right to me. IDK, maybe it was when I was watching the demo on G4, but it really didn't seem like it was polished.

I mean, the game comes out in a few months, and the demo was essentially the same little bit over and over again. almost as if the game is far from down. perhaps it will get pushed back i dunno, but I personally am holding off of buying this for awhile.

When it comes out, I'm gonna get it, and I'm looking for every exploit I can find, I am going to exploit that game so hard, seriously I'll be on top of the map spoiling the fun for the whole server.

The game will good no doubt, the hype gets sales, and sales are pretty much what matters. But I dont think the game will be bad, sure shooting down zombies will get repetitive, but I do believe that you guys are forgeting that 4 other people will be Zombies, and who knows what the hell is going to grab you from behind when your team cuts a corner while your alone for the split second, bam, hunter grabs you and your screwed.

That aspect is something that should keep the game scary and not those little moments "Wtf, where did you come from, *KABLOOEY*". Think about it, and PC wont get repetitive because you can always mod to make your shotgun shoot teddy bears to kill zombies, and DLC will probably be coming to the 360 version of the game. Anyways....

I'll admit it, when it comes to Zombie (Horror) games, I am a very big wimp. I can guarantee while playing this game my face will be going from all smiles about the awesome detail, to jaw opening gasps when seeing a hoard of zombies pop out from a corner.

Eh....am I the only one who thinks Gears of War 2 will effectively wipe out the possibility of Left 4 Dead making it anywhere on the top XBOX Live most played list? lmao

But from all the gameplay video's and trailers I've seen, it's going to be just that. If all you're doing is shooting zombies for 5-10 hours its going to get repetitive fast (As mad as that sounds, its true). There doesn't seem to be enough variety overall, which is wierd because the Half Life games always have tons of it. (Team mate goes down on floor, go to them and heal, carry on shooting. Rince and repeat).

It's a Multiplayer FPS, you shoot things, you die, you save teamates.

It's just how these types of games go. Valve is a master at online games, I have full faith in them.
