Its scheduled for 2009 and currently in prodcution by
Aniplex (the ones who produced: Full Metal Alchemist, Blood+, Naurto, Rurouni Kenshin, and Powder Pull Girls Z)
I loved the game and the story ^^
Anybody looking forward to watching this?

Aniplex also did Read or Die, one of my all time favorite animes, along with a few others.
I can't wait for the VC anime, especially now that I know Aniplex is working on it.

there are also two manga adaptions
Valkyria Chronicles - Wish Your Smile: story between an orphan/enlisted soldier and a sniper both in the Gallian army
and the original Valkyria Chronicles: based on the game.
(I downloaded the first volume, in scans. no english translation T-T )
i hope the mangas will hit the US sometime in the future

(I downloaded the first volume, in scans. no english translation T-T ) i hope the mangas will hit the US sometime in the future the first one apparently is a yaoi manga targeting female audiences, from what i'd heard. and there is english translation manga for the 2nd one, if you want i can look it up again. It simply was awesome, especially seeing both marina and jann making an appearance. and OMG!? Isara is female!? all these times i didn't see her wearing a skirt so i thought she was just a shy boy with weird fashion sense.... and yeah, will Definitely be following the VC anime in the spring season. A-1 pictures did not produce any of the animes mentioned above. Although having said that, their latest one, Kannagi, is quite good. Correct me if i am wrong. |

There’s something about Alicia and Welkin’s face I don’t like. I mean they look good but there’s just something off about them. Faldio looks great though. |
