Why did you pick your name?

Well back oh say a few years ago I made the forum name spartan1012 now as many believe it came from halo and while I do enjoy a few rounds of halo once a week or so my name actually came from my brother calling me spartan (an old word for someone who never indulges ageist there self disciples i.e. never gambles if he swears not to gamble or so on) but know I am doomed to be never taken seriously on a forum because of fanboyisum so my question to all you people. Got any good name ideas?

I just sat there while making my gamespot profile and picked two random sounds and put them together... Lo - pur... And then I put the year I was born at the end... pretty stupid, i kno... And yea I used it for other websites and forums like this one soon after.

BOPPeed was just a bunch of letters typed in as a name for Legend of Zelda: OoT. I liked the sound of it so I started using it as my username.

Thus BOPPeed was born.

... Because I like it when people think I'm a conceited jackass for having a name with "Exterminate" in it, and I love hearing "Hey, Exterminated, you just got terminated" after every game I lose (Which is a lot.)

I dont care about people knowing my name but using a real name as a username just looks weird (unless you have a cool name, which most people dont) and for some people seem to think you are very unexperienced with computers if you use your real name. So, my answer has to be "Use invented name for other reasons"

My name is simply a play on the word innovative, way back when i made the name there was only one result for it on google, and that was just one of those copy paste search engines that fill alot of unused domains. Now some website called innovacious marketing has come along and stole my name and someones added a definition to urban dictionary! Ive owned innovacious.co.uk for 3 years now though, incase i want to go anywhere with the name, hoping to become self employed one day.

I like the name Yggdrasill, but it is a popular name to use so it's always taken in most places.
So I figured I'd shorten it to "Drasil"

Hellspawn used to be a pen name stolen from Todd McFarlane, but it's usually taken, so it melds my initial to 'Spawn'.
P-S-Pawn is what everyone misreads, but I don't really mind.
