i choose my name causs when i started blayin animal crossing ww i wanted a name like mine (jimmy/jim) so well earlier tht day i got a b-day card from my friend and it had on it jimjam so i was like jam yes  and jam (first 3 letters of james) well then 1 of my friends was suppose to get a person on my ac ww but he never he was suppose to be peanut butter another friend was suppose to be cinnamon and the other was ganna be toast well when i was creating a user on gaiaonline i thoguht i need a last name so i was like jam toast thts my story from jimmy AKA jam peanut-butter toast (peanut butter is his middle name) |

and then one of my other friends called me crispy
and then i add the chris at the end because that is my real name ^-^

Back in 2003, all my forum names were Brandon; my real name. In 2006 I was playing on a HL2DM server, and these asshole admins were kicking me for fun, but their server was a lot of fun, so I changed my name to shortbus, and the name stuck. I still have my steam friends name set to Brandon. If I could choose today, I'd change this forum name to Brandon, too.

A lot of people didn't get the point of this thread. I use a made up name to protect my identity. This thread has been hijacked and turned into the "Explain your screen name" thread. My name has a long history and this wasn't my first name, but my original name warped into this. I've been an internet nerd since I was 9 years old. I'm 19 now. Yeah 10 years of staying inside instead of playing with friends, so sad.. Anyways, I had a first screen name which I won't tell anyone because I was just a kid. Let's just say it was Pokemon related. Anyways, I changed my name to Neko Chaos because I was into Anime and I was a fanatic about cats. Mind you that at the time "neko" wasn't associated with catgirls or weeaboos or whatever the crap its associated with nowadays. As the years went by I was given many nicknames. Nek, Neku, Nekkie, Neknek, Nekkers, Neky, etc cutesy names. I eventually took the Chaos out of my name and just went by Neko. Then some major event happened in my life (too private to explain) and I went into depression. I then changed my name to Kage Nek because of the depression (Shadow, Get it? Shadow of my former self?). As time went on I got over what happened and dropped the "Kage" and added a ™ to my name. I've stuck with Nek™ for a few years now. You don't see too many Nek's around do you? Trademarked bitch. |

My chat name is digitalispurpurea, I picked this name because I like to grow flowers and Foxgloves have very beautiful purple flowers ( digitalis can also kill, it's a very poisonous plant).

My name came from my Great Grandfather, he was a WW2 Sgt who was sadly killed at D-Day. He was a sniper which is where the term "Marksman" comes from. The numbers 332 were on his dogtags.

I'm well know for this Username across the net, RedUnit10. It started in the RedvsBlue.com site, moving to 4Chan, then onto a many different sites.
Its like keeping my reputation.
But why I choose it? At the time I liked red team, unit is a simple way to say a subdivision of a larger military grouping, and 10 because that was how old I was at the time.
