I wish I could put music that I've done.
Sadly the only music I have recorded is when I was in a band...that kicked me out.
I want to start doing solo DJ stuff, I have so many ideas, just need money.
Does anyone use Musician's Friend and if so, are they reliable for good and inexpensive equipment?

So... I decided to actually show off some of the music I try to make and I think that I have an idea of what my style sounds like. I'm not a musician in the sense that I can play an instrument. I sometimes fool around with the piano but I don't really have much skill in that area. I feel strange not posting something played with a real instrument... but this is still music. Before I start to really ramble on here is a song I started and made at least progress somewhat. I call it "Ambient Energy" and it's kind of a mix between Ambient Trance and Nu-NRG. So... I haven't recorded anything yet, but I have been playing guitar for 6 years. I mostly play JRock riffs, since they sound cooler. I own a black ESP Viper 50, and it's black. I named it "Bakemono", which means monster in Japanese. :3

shortbus, interesting music. it's nice to see that there's someone else who doesn't just play rock music.  I'm not a musician, but I love to compose. I used to be a fan of rock and metal, I have a guitar that I used to play quite often. But somewhat recently completely changed my tastes. I now love classical music/orchestral/instrumental/neo-classical, whatever you want to call it. And it would be great if you guys could listen to a couple. These two pieces were actually composed for a Hamlet video scene reenactment for my English class. I like how experimental your stuff sounds, shortbus. It has a strange feel to it... and that's a really good thing. I guess it's mystical yet not too safe to get close to... it's hard to explain. And those compositions are really good twistamafoo. I think that solo-composed orchestral pieces are interesting. One person "playing" several instruments at once. I guess to follow up on this whole "classical"/"piano" vibe I was inspired to make a song using mainly the piano. The only thing is that around :25 it gets very harsh. Up to that point things are pretty quiet. So don't turn up the volume too high or you might find it too loud ;3 Desert Cavern |

Except I'm decent at the clarinet. I'd like to listen to your Desert Cavern piece since I've been loving the sound of the piano more every day, but for some reason whenever I try to download from that site it says my access is denied. :/ |

Meh the only things I've recorded with my guitar and other instruments were for my music classes in middle/highschool
sent there and pretty much deleted after that.
So nothing on my comp still from then.
Maybe if I feel unlazy-like then I will probably try my hand at recording myself again.
On a side note my friend is having a concert at school and he asked his teacher for extra credit so me and other friends will be playing back up instruments, this concert happens uh.. April 3rd.

looks like I've been talked to not only playing lead guitar but singing too.
This sucks, I dont even go to my friends school lol but meh Anyways, I will post back in here as an update on how the concert went.
