I currently am working on something for guitar. I have the lyrics. I have the music for guitar....
but the notes for the lyrics... that is hard shit to do.
As of right now im just redoing the song into a recorder and working with that. Seeing what sounds good and basing the following recordings off of it until i get something i like.

Sounds nifty Travis, do you have a whole project in mind or just a for-fun thing?
I did vocals in a few bands through high school, but I prefer to stick with guitar and bass. I'm stuck with the Ibanez in that video for now though, I had to sell my acoustic when I moved a few months ago.

And im a musician  .I play guitar,Drums Im learning to growl and picking up on bass a lil.I've only got 2 Original songs for now..One is an intro, and the other is an intro the leads into a song >>; but sadly i have no covers whatsoever up.Im scared to show my Guitar and shitty Camera quality >< |

I work as a pianist and music director in theater.
The only video I can find is this one. I'm conducting the band and playing the piano . . . AT THE SAME TIME. You can't really hear me in this one since there's not that much piano in this song.

Holy cow I've been waiting for a thread like this to pop up XD.
I'm a music major. I play guitar, and sing lol. In my life I've been forced on a hell of a lot of instruments. If it wasn't Piano and vocal lessons, it was saxophone and flute lessons. In the end I played saxophone, flute, piano, clarinet, and voice lol. All at the tender age of 8. I took up guitar at 15 and realized that the one thing I really wanted to do with my life was to make music. I took guitar lessons for 3 months then i quit because I was getting better than my teacher XD. I spent 5 years teaching myself lol. Basically I tend to write over the top complicated rhythms. I've only written a couple songs though cause I wanna be at my best before I start writing.
Nothing really makes me happier than hearing other people's music XD. So yeah post it NAO.

Oh music, my biggest love. I was on the drumline in the maching band at my school. I played bass drum for 2 years, and then quads for the other 2. We started Winter Drumline my sophomore year, which is pretty much a marching band show but with just the drumline, and the shows are on a tarp inside a basketball gym as opposed to on a football field or track. In marching band we were never special, but in Winter Drumline we were 2nd in the state, and then went on to be 6th in the world! Lots of fun. Other than that I have a bass guitar I never really play. I'm wanting a drumset since I absolutely love drumming, but I don't have space or money for that at the moment. I've also been a vocalist of a few metal bands here and there. I've been doing screaming and growling since I was a sophomore, and I'm pretty content that I'm really good. My last band was in 2008, and it was called Angira. I ended up leaving from creative differences I had with the second vocalist we had. I'm hoping to get into a band when I go to college if I wear a bunch of band shirts...lol, maybe someone will notice me and magically be like "Hey, you look like a vocalist!". I still practice a lot, and if I can find how, I'm thinking of doing vocal covers of a few band like Through the Eyes of the Dead and The Faceless. Don't really have anything up on YouTube at the moment though  |
