I've actually got something I did with moose. He recorded a quicmk riff and sent it to me. It's halfway done, so I'll have t rerecord it. I like where this is going! Aside from videos, I've got Audacity and a few other programs for recording, but after working in a studio a few times the quality makes me cringe. I've been thinking about getting either a guitar or a bass recently, but since I don't have a job that's going to have to wait for a bit.

You must Have one Visceral voice to pull off The Faceless my friend.Kudos. Haha, well honestly when I say cover, I mean I sing their words with their music but I kinda do it my style. I am trying to gear my growl more towards them, because I love the way it sounds. But when I do screams they more or less sound like Suicide Silence. |

Haha! Honestly, all you have to do to get good is growl with your favorite songs playing. Keep practicing like that and you'll start to figure out new ways to do what you're doing, but just remember: Your diaphragm is your friend!

I'm not too into straight growl-vocals.
I mean, I've done and like to do metal stuff with my voice, but when it gets to a certain point where is just growlmumblegrowlmumblegrowl it gets too repetitive for me.
If it fits the genre I like to mix it up: clean vocals, growl, scream, whatever. I've gotten lots of compliments in being able to pull crazy stuff with my voice. ;D

I play flute and piccolo for stuff like symphonic band and wind ensemble. I played 3rd bass for my sophomore year, 1st bass my junior year and for the winter drumline that same year (which was the first time we've ever had a winter DL). Then quads/quints/tenors (I call them tenors) my senior year for marching band, and right now for winter drumline. I got some pretty sweet solos to play. :3 Hey, here's our show from last year. Holy crap Wednesday_R, that was amazing. I could have sworn I herd Kyo in the background with his "Mmmmmm, Vinuuushkaaaa." I hope you actually learn the rest  . On the other hand, while not being much of a musician myself, I have a keyboard that I use every now and again, I need to learn more stuff. I can play a few Zelda tunes, and I can play the piano opening to Cage by Dir en Grey along with a few other short things like the Tetris theme. |

I play the trumpet and I've created some songs on Sibelius music creator. I don't take any vocal classes like choir and such, but people at school are always telling me to join. I'm currently learning how to play Alto Sax.
I'll try to find one of our marching bands' videos.

Well I finally got around to recording something. I usually go with first takes. My recording interface sucks and it always makes the volume levels too low for my tastes even though its turned up to peak. Sorry if its not loud enough and for the random static lol. My computer decided to lag in the middle of a good take. This is something I wrote and did a little noodling over. lol. Unnamed with Improv |
