... you know you should ask to sticky this. it's only on top since you're responding to help. Even if it is stickied, no one's gonna read it.

Thanks for the guide darknezz, but I have a question if you can help me.
It's a sound problem.
You said to check Stereo Mix to get audio from the computer and it worked. However, it sounds awful and high-pitched in everything I play. I did a quick test on youtube and played something live and it was unbearable to hear. Is there something I should play around with on the Flash Media Encorder or is it something else in terms of my audio settings on my computer?

I've never encountered this before. Try turning down your Stereo Mix or Recording volume on your computer's audio settings; It could be volume distortion caused by shit being too loud. Also, try turning down the volume slider in FME. Aside from that, though, I have no idea.

If this doesn't show up: Right click on vistas sound-control-panel and select "show deactivated." You will see the stereo mix device appear. You can activate it, by right click-> activate. Hopefully, that fixes it.

Your on-board sound sound does not support stereo mix. Sorry, sucks to be you.

If that works and I do it right then the only challenge left will be entertaining people with Peggle until I figure out how to broadcast my console well enough.

If you have really good speakers and a really good mic, well, there ya go. Of course, you could always go reformat and install XP.

Not really. All you have to do is put in a Windows XP CD, reboot, wait for it to say "Press any key to boot from CD" and then tell it to format your C:\ partition and then install Windows.
Just make sure you have your motherboard's drivers disc (it came with the mobo) and your graphics card's drivers disc (which isn't necessary, because you can get them from the appropriate website.)
