I just can't figure out how to broadcast sound from my desktop, damn Vista. Yeah, the stereo mix functionality is broken in Vista, thanks to Microsoft. They did it as a way to prevent people from recording songs streamed from YouTube or whatever. You can look for a work around on Google, but I was unsuccessful with it.

Did exactly what you said. The tutorial needs some more step-to-step hints furthermore a complete link list would be helpful since especially the VH Screen Capture website is a bit confusing. I still have a problem though. I tried changing the region but it doesn't change anything. When I preview it in the Adobe Flash Media Encoder the region doesn't change at all. No matter what I do. Whether I select the entire screen as a region or just a specific region. Nothing happens.

If FME is on when you do it, it won't recognize the change until you restart it. As for "more step-by-step hints," what do you mean? The whole thing is pretty comprehensive.

Well things like that are not mentioned. Then you did not mention to select the multicam in the FME as a source. The other screen capture is not working. It is weird and not very comprehensive otherwise I would not face problems like that. Also tried fiddling around with the options of the Screen Capture program and I am sure that it is important to know about those. Since fiddling around does not do anything. Thanks in advance

As for the settings, they don't make much difference any way, unless you know what you're doing, and if you don't, don't touch the settings.

I cannot get my screen to be completely shown (1280x1024) there's always the task bar cut off. Furthermore the settings seem to fix all those weird problems like having black borders and being the source in the wrong aspect.

How about testing that BEFORE bit ching about my tutorial not working, kay thanks.

After installing the driver, every time I try to open up Flash Media Encoder, only the VH Multicam studio pops up. How do I change this?

I assume you mean just FME, in which case: Let MultiCamStudio sit there for a bit. Some times, FME has trouble loading. Then, when FME is up, check the box at the bottom that disables Multi Cam's autostart. If it still doesn't work, reinstall. Mirei had to do the latter. If you mean that is was working before you updated your video drivers, I suggest reinstalling FME.

I meant the VHScrnCap. FME opens up fine before installing VHScrnCap , but the MultiCamStudio opens after installing VHScrnCap .

From what I've seen from other people when they load their FME is that this black window pops up with all the necessary settings, but when I load FME only the VH Multi Camera Studio pops up.

Good god... Refer to the last post I made. Stop flip flopping. I want to beat you. Flip flopping? The black window doesn't open with all the settings when I load up FME, only the VHMultiCamStudio opens up. But, if I didn't install the VHScrnCap, the black window WOULD open. ...and yes, I am loading up the Config for VHScrnCap. I could get the VH Screen Cap Driver to open and able to select the region that I want captured. When I try to load up FME, only the VHMultiCamStudio would open. I can't load the FME config file from here.
