What do you guys think about D. Gray Man? Been reading the manga and I like it so far, most of the cast actually kicks as much ass as the main character. And the Millenium Earl is a pretty funny antagonist.

I got to about the 8th volume and lost interest. There are parts of the story that are just cluster f**ks, and need more plot narrative, the main character was like-able, if not a bit dull. I thought it was decent.

And for a shonen jump anime/manga, people sure are gaining and losing powers REALLY fast when it's probably going to try and go 200+ episodes.

Well until he gets Crown Clown and fits the stereotype x.x

Yeah but in a really good anime/manga, even when the story gets boring, the characters are still entertaining, which D. Gray Man didn't fulfill for me. I think that the problem with Allen might be that at the cost of being less of a stereotypical shonen protagonist, he also is a bit overly dull. He just couldn't keep my attention as a character, I actually found most of the secondary characters more interesting then him (I.E Lavi). But really the character development leaves a bit to be desired.
