Edited Fallout 3 is Now The ONLY Version

Australia was suppose to be the only place in the world getting the Edited Version, but Bethesda VP of PR and Marketing says "We want to make sure folks understand that the Australian version of Fallout 3 is identical to both the UK and North American versions in every way, on every platform.”

huh? we get Fallout, just the dunbed down version that was suppose to be in only Australia.

To be clear, the only thing that was changed were the names of the drugs you can take in the game.

Instead of ones that resembled real life drugs they now have totally fictitious names. That's the only thing that's "dumbed down" about the new censored version.

Didn't they do the same thing with GTA4? Also, my character (Who will indeed be a black man) would never take mind altering substances and will work to rid him from his local communities. Post Apocalyptic Frank Lucas is going down!

I'm somewhat glad they changed the names, I don't recall the original Fallout having actual drug names.

Either than that, it's not a dumbed down version .
