According to Kotaku, the E3 board has been in talks for some time about reopening the convention to the public again, granting access to more than developers, the press, and those select few lucky enough to receive an invite. This news could be a great step towards rebuilding what seems to be a fracturing industry, allowing gamers to mingle again unhindered and interact directly with those behind the games. to be honest i think pax has filled that void and then some, even if they do, i think a lot of people would rather just go to pax than e3, i mean the last one wasnt really spectacular yknow?

umm PAX is first and foremost an Indie game conference right? Correct me if I'm wrong. I know there are alot of games shown there, but for the most part its for indie. And it's not a great event for big announcements.
Either way, I wouldn't want to go to one of these conferences. I get all my info that I need from IGN and such. Playing the demos would be fun, after you wait a long ass time.
