Every time someone broadcasts something highly request like a horror game (most recently Siren) the chat has been going insane with people spamming. Even during slow mode it is impossible to read anything with all of the lol's at someone screaming or people trying to discuss gaming news it seems to go just as fast or even faster than normal mode on a less requested game (Eden). Something needs to be done about all of the spam so that not only me but everyone else in chat can understand what is going on.

jtv needs to make a super slowmode in my opinion. double time inbetween posts. or put a chat window on each side of the broadcast. that would be pretty cool.

It would also help if people just had some self control and didn't have to post every single thought that came to their mind.

We definitely need to request some sort of Advanced Slow Mode from JTV, because with 500+ chatters, Regular Slow Mode just ain't cutting it.

Sometimes slow mode actually makes it worse. People know they are limited to a post a minute and then feel the need to use that post per minute. There are times when we have the same amount of chatters but with slow mode off, they talk less. So basically I completely agree with grey on this one.

Grey has it nailed really. People simply need to think before they even decide to type. There's nothing wrong with making a good joke or talking with people about something. Its just annoying seeing memes with absolute no relation to going on or overused requests/phrases (You should know which ones by now) that make even slow mode a b*tch. And 4PP have tried for alternatives/solutions to the 'crisis', like Travis making an mIRC chatroom. Sadly, it's not really gained attention.
As much as Grey's post is right, it still won't help even if people read it. People either would take it as a challenge or would be silly enough to ignore it. We just have to make the best of it for now until a proper solution is found.
