I'd like to hear what you guys think of game sequels that are or aren't necessary, seeing more them become a cash cow than trying something different.

Movies turned into games. Chimps In Space, Wall-E, and the old Lion King game.

Games turned into movies, like resident evil.

I can't give too many suggestions because I can't recall much at the moment.

And which do you like more, if you like them at all? Movies turned into games or games turned into movies or neither?

And this is one suggestion, talk about them both.

Hey guys I was wondering what your thoughts are on "Competitive" Gaming. Leagues like the MLG (Major League Gaming) and theCGS.com (Championship Gaming Series) are currently attempting to bring competitive gaming to the mainstream, do you think it could work? And what game do you think would be to market competitive gaming as a sport? (Shooter/Strategy/etc...)

Sequels. there are too many. GTA VI, Final Fantasy XIII, CoD 5, Resident Evil 5. I think they need to stop making sequels and start making new games with different story lines.

what i wanna ask is why do so many people put there faith and beliefs on a demo and automatically assume the full game is going to suck

Dieing franchises like mgs, and maybe even talking about the decline of actual stratagy in video games. cause like there are a lot of game that are like a rambo movie..... where basically your just spray'n'praying the whole game

The one thing I have noticed more and more of and am getting really "miffed" about is game censoring. I remember back in 1998 where you could kill children indiscriminately in fallout 2 without a second thought. Now in 2008 we can barely have a picture of a child in a game without it being pulled for censoring. I mean come on, why are all games going backwards in development. We lose gameplay mechanics for realism but then we lose chunks of realism for censoring.

I would love to hear your side on it aswell.

*The upcoming games in 2008.
*Why the hell the PSN cards are not in North America?
*Video game delays.
*Remakes of classics (like bionic commando).
*Difficulty in video games, is it rediculous or fun?
*What is Nintendo doing, wat about the Wii? E3
*Games that need to be remade (like Legend of Dragoon imo, change up graphics and sound/music, leave the rest?)

with the success of xbox live arcade and playstation network is this the future of games or will there be games on disks

I think too many games out there are sequals or remakes of older famous games
sure they are amazing but by building a new IP they have so much more freedom
The only problem is that less people will buy it just because of the name which pisses me off
