I vote for Rock Band because they seem more dedicated to getting more music out to the public

I voted Guitar Hero because it seems harder and i like being challenged and i think rock band is too easy.

I was hardcore on Guitar Hero, until I bought Rock Band about 6 months after its release. Guitar Hero is more difficult, but being able to play with 3 other ppl on different instruments wins it. The tons of downloadables is nice too, I'm not sure how much $ I've spent on them, but I have at least 3/4 of the library. I will probably go back to GH when the new comes out though.

I vote for rock band. I like that i can form a band with people on multiplayer and play. Plus, they get new songs every week

rock band, loved gh 1 and 2, then played the travesty that is guitar hero 3, its mind numbingly easy, takes at most 3 sessions to unlock everything and the multiplayer is terrible and laggy.
plus the controllers dont work.

I am going to go towards the guitar hero side cause it's more competitive other than rockband which is boringly too easy for me >_<
