I've played cod4 for probably about 2 hours tops on a day that I rented it, I am about to buy this game and I am wondering if I should get it for the PS3 or the 360, which system should I get it for?

Wait for Modern Warfare 2.
360 online has less lag than the PS3 but it doesn't mean the PS3 online is horrible. CoD4 on the PS3 is good, it just depends on the host's connection.

Agreed MW2 multiplayer is going to be better. Im wondering if there is any gameplay for MW2 Multiplayer O:

I was thinking about that, but I want to somewhat prepare myself for MW2 so I dont jump in the multiplayer as a noob and get destroyed right off the bat

I was thinking about that, but I want to somewhat prepare myself for MW2 so I dont jump in the multiplayer as a noob and get destroyed right off the bat Actually its better to wait for MW2 because everyone would still have to learn the maps and get used to the starting and such so the playing field is relatively leveled. If you just jump into COD4 you would be facing off many more experienced players with weapons they are more comfortable with while you are stuck with the starting weapons. |

To be honest if you really are going to get the first MW I reccomend the 360 because there are alot more players compared to the PS3 online. Im not being fanboyish but thats just what I think.
