Hayate no Gotoku!

I'm surprised no one made a thread about this anime! Nobody watches it? Not even season 2? I don't think it's the greatest anime of all time but many times, it has given me a laugh. This show is parodies with a cast full of interesting characters. The demographic is strongly male but I'm sure plenty of female watchers would enjoy this show. Season 2 starts off a little bit slower and with much less parodies than Season 1 but episode season 2, episode 12 redeemed the show in my eyes.

Based on the manga, Hayate no Gotoku is about a poor boy who is about to kidnap a rich girl but in the process, she mistakes his failed kidnapping attempt for a love confession, other lowlifes kidnap her before him, he saves her and becomes her butler!

Season 1 was full of censored references to other shows. It's wild and crazy at times.

My favorite parody is well... The battle scenes look vaguely familiar. :3

Well I just started reading and watching this series. I quite enjoy it so far. Glad to find someone who have also heard of it.

If anyone never heard of this it's a good funny series to check out. It is wild and crude.

Definitely a hilarious series. It's fun to pick on the references in the first season, though the second one has more story. A hilarious anime, which rarely actually appeals to both genders.
