I'm gonna be a rebel and say FFV. The GBA version, at least. I just loved the class system in that game... it's really what made me like it so much.

FFVIII I was so immersed in the game when i played it, it was magic. I didn't pay attention to the tutorials in the begining, so i played the game without junctioning magic to my stats.. only the GF's. First RPG, First FF... it was hard as shit...  Honorable Mentions for me are Final Fantasy Tactics and FFIX. FFIX would be SO FUCKING GOOD if the battle system was faster and no trance system. ><  |

FF9 great classic, but most people never played it, how many of you guys played 9 before? I never actually beat the final boss(es). I never actually saw the ending on my TV, but I played all four discs of that sh*t. Great game. |

FF9 because it was the first one I ever played. It also got backed to its roots after FF7 and 8.

FFX-2 had a good combat system and job class system, THATS IT. Everything else, and I do mean everything, was shit. Looks like Im the only one here who has FF 12 as their favorite. :/

ff9 is my favorite. Zidane is a great main character, the story was good, and the battle systems is solid

I heard FFX-2 was pretty good actually. That said, I've never played it myself, so I can't say much. The battle system was decent, everything else was a complete mess that somehow managed to take everything that was good in FFX and make it crap >_< |
