I say no to rule of rose, It's not brad's taste. I've almost beaten the game and it's not scary at all. Its just twisted and I'll just say it's not brad's taste in horror. He'll get bored of it. As for clock tower 3, I'm not sure that he wants to play that one. I haven't even gotten through the first part yet and the last time I picked that game up was 2 years ago. I hate kuon with a passion. At times I did jump and the game is just sickly twisted. I haven't picked that game up in 2 years either. Edit: Have the guys played Echo Night Beyond? My review on this game if you're interested. 4playerpodcast.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=reviews&action=display&thread=2934

Obscure 1 and 2 are fun with their co-op, they're only scary in the cheesy American B-movie sense.
One that I've always been interested in but never been able to try is Michigan.

I was going to mention Michigan, but that game is really boring. Someone posted a walkthrough on Youtube, and really, that is all you need. You can say you have played the game by just watching that walkthrough. The voice acting is horrible (though hilariously so), you don't really do anything, except press a button for your reporter to do something. It is basically a visual novel with some interactivity, which is rather limited.
I've never heard of Echo Night Beyond. Is it just a European game?
I think Brad has played the good survival horror titles with the exception of Obscure already. The rest are titles I can think of him not enjoying.

No, you can get echo night beyond in the states. I got it at best buy when I was picking up something else.( I'm pretty sure I was looking for another game or game system and some blank mp3 cds.)
edit: I don't think this game got any real hype.

So thus far, its seems that people have had some pretty good ideas. Its much more of a response then I anticipated, since Brad has played most of the good Survival Horror titles.
But it looks like there are a few he hasn't tried as of yet, its good to see people who are more nerdy then me. ;D

No, he hasn't. But when prompted, he responded: "I don't want any games with the old Resident Evil graphics". Which is where Cold Fear falls into.

In all seriousness though, it's tough to find a Survival Horror game that he hasn't played through that is past PS1, Echo Night doesn't look very scary.

The game didn't scare some people for others it did. We're all different. Trailer for the game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyzcaY80UIUKeep in mind this game requires the analog to be on. And some of you might like it, others will probably hate it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Echo Night Beyond. Back when I played a demo of it, I was too terrified to play very far. XD
I saw a walkthrough of it recently though, and it was quite boring. Probably because the person knew exactly what they needed to do, and I knew he'd make it out alive. Maybe seeing Brad play it without prior knowledge of the game would be a bit more fun to watch?

Obscure Aftermath would be a good one to play.
