who calls it pop? i havent been near anyone who seriously calls it pop. unless someone is trying to be different or funny or something. it is called soda

It all depends on where you live really, up north here in the midwest it is generally "pop." Down south it is generally "soda." The rest of the United States I have no idea.
Exocel, I didn't know they call them that in England, that is oddly interesting to me.

I say neither. Ever. My main fizzy drink is always a coca cola, so whenever I want that or something similar (Like Pepsi) I say coke. If I want another fizzy drink like a Tango or Fanta I call them by their names.
