pretty far into point lookout and it's great, the huge area you get to explore is awesome and there's some very cool sequences for quests, I don't wanna tell to much cause it will ruin it for ppl but it's definetly a must buy if your a fallout fan
I have all of the DLC packs and I have to say this one is my favorite so far.

Wow even better than Broken Steel? Thinking about getting it, any awesome new weapons worth getting? =D Seems like I always stop playing Fallout 3 once I finish the DLCs now.

there's not much as far as new weapons or armor from what i've seen so far, all I've gotten is the double barreled shotgun.
But the content is just way better IMO, it actually feels like a giant extension of fallout 3. Your given a huge area to explore and do quests in any order that you choose, it doesn't feel linear or forced like Operation Anchorage and the Pitt and doesn't simply add some new small areas like Broken Steel(although I did love broken steel).
It also has alot of lore about the fallout universe in it to.
Theres one quest thats mad trippy cool to.

I was going to pick up a point card and buy Broken Steel and The Pitt since I haven't already, but I may have to get Point Lookout instead of The Pitt. I just learned today that it was coming out today, I though it'd be much farther down the road...
Glad to hear that it's awesome!

Broken Steel was alright IMO, it felt a bit too short. I still need to fix my Fallout 3 since my other account on the computer got fucked up so i can get Point Lookout

well as far as the lore goes one of the quests get into kind of what was going with the spying between the chinese and U.S before the war.
There's 3 quests outside of the main questline and two of the side ones are decently long quest chains with the main questline being about 4-5 quests. Overall I'd say there's probably 10 quests in it.
Having all the DLC packs I'd definetly choose lookout over The Pitt or anchorage, I dunno about broken steel just cause of the level cap raise.
Oh and the main quest line does give you a pretty sweet gun at the end, and I found a scary clown mask to ;D

I would get this, but after Broken Steel I deleted all my saves because I believed there would not be any more expansions. I was sadly mistaken.

I'm definitely getting Broken Steel just for the level cap and the continuation of the main story line. I will eventually buy The Pitt, I may even just spurge and by two microsoft point cards, get all the expansions I haven't gotten and use the next 800 credits to buy an arcade game. I guess that's not really splurging though, since it'd only be $40

Curses, you beat me to a review topic. Well I'll chip in my two pence anyways.
Here's what my review was gonna sound like:
"Did you enjoy The Pitt? How about Operation Anchorage? But did the Pitt leave you wanting to face more deformed baddies? Or did Anchorage not fulfill your awesome weapons quota? Well my fellow Fallout friend, Point Lookout is for you! With dozens of new and exotic guns, melee and even some new contraptions; and more horribly deformed baddies then you can shake a repellent stick at."
Since I've also been playing the game for awhile now, I'll toss in a little extra but I'll try to not reveal any spoilers.
Point Lookout is small, but with an achievement for locating EVERY location in Point Lookout, you can bet that this map will more then likely make up for its small size.
Unlike all the previous DLC's, Point Lookout will cost you a few caps to get to. As the only way there is via a boat trip offered by a strange speaking man.
A bit notices to all you low levels or unprepared, I HIGHY suggest you be lvl 30, bring plenty of Rad X and Rad Away, equip you best armor, store any unnecessary weapons and apparel before leaving for Point Lookout. Much like The Pitt, there is no set place to call a "safe house". (also carrying as many Stim Packs as you can doesn't hurt, especially when you visit some of the more dangerous parts of Point Lookout)
As of yet, I have not encountered a single glitch. Though at times it can get laggy, but I assume thats due to the amount of stuff Bethesda threw into the DLC.
[EDIT]
Oh, I do want to say this! Point Lookout is not just fighting hordes of bad guys and treasure, there is a good story line behind Point Lookout. As well as plenty of side quests that can altogether avoid enemies, but keep on your toes; new types of attackers will surprise you with not only their strength and resistance but also how they interact with each other.

It finally lets you get a pint-sized slasher clown mask outside of tranquility lane! What more could you want!?

don't remove The Pitt, it's a real fun experience. Broken Steel was alright IMO, it felt a bit too short. Agreed, Agreed. The Pitt was really cool, running around for ingots was a pain but worth it, the infiltrator is so far my favorite DLC addition to gear and the end moral choice was actually kind of hard. Broken Steel was (Imo) a bit better, I just liked fighting along side the brotherhood, fighting the Enclave n all. The Giant robot (forgot his name) was frakin sweet also. It was short yea... but cool regardless. Im going to pick up Point lookout when I get the time.

Its been only a full eight hours of game play and I have already done a 100% complete run of Point Lookout.
I'm a bit disappointed in how shot it was, but for people who don't like to do 100% runs it will provided much entertainment. Perhaps even a 24 hour game.
Anyways, when I say 100% I mean all the unique weapons and gear, and every achievement and all quests.
