*Sigh* not sure where Itagaki gets his massive sense of superiority from. He fronted a team that made some reasonably good games and seems to feel that he can freely insult everyone around him. I remember him insulting Devil May Cry as a watered down Ninja Gaiden clone.
Oh, and on his resignation from Tecmo over his not getting "bonus pay" he declared that Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden were dead thanks to his leaving.
Itagaki may have been involved in some well received games but I really doubt he was the sole driving factor behind them, for him to say otherwise is pretty arrogant.
I personally don't think he has the right to insult Bayonetta and it's creators in such a personal way, he just comes across as an arrogant jerk. Can't say that I am looking forward to hearing any more from him.
And really, "laser eye surgery"? Where does that insult come from? A very strange recommendation coming from the guy who wears sunglasses 24/7.

Beyonetta may be one of those games that will pass me by, i don't hate the game but i hold other upcoming games to a higher priority for must buys, the guy is kinda right in saying along the lines that the game offers nothing new but it still looks like it could be a fun game.

Me-ow. It almost seems as if he hasn't even seen much of the game. Sure just by looking at it it looks like a Devil May Cry clone, but reading deeper into it, you really find that it's quite over-the-top with moves, and it has interesting mechanics as well.
Still, I can't say much about it, since I havn't played Bayonetta yet. I suppose we'll see once it's out.

Itagaki is just jealous of Kamiya, because Kamiya has been successful with Devil May Cry series and other well known hack n slash games. what has Itagaki accomplish besides losing his team trusts?
