It's essentially a horror mystery about the strange connections between a surge of strange suicides, the film opening with one of the more strange suicides that show 54 schoolgirls jump into an incoming train, literally splashing the station in blood. Some of the more strange suicides and plots are kind of a spoiler if you're interested in this film, but it's definatly worth a look if you're not of the weak willed. seriously, *** just happened? I hope the movie carried out the story well coz it's not properly explained in the spoiler article. Looks interesting, but i will reserve my judgement after i see more of the movie itself.

After watching this movie, I still had quite a few questions on my mind. But...I honestly had to wait a few days before I could watch it again  . Very interesting movie though. |

To be honest, the movie let me down a bit. I had wanted to see it for years, but when I eventually did, the only good scenes were in the beginning (the train) and the part where random people start offing themselves (comedian, etc). Maybe it was because it was confusing, but I felt that the story went in too many directions at once, and in the end, couldn't focus on just one thing. It also seemed like it rushed towards the end.

I saw it ages ago, its just a movie you have to pay attention to.
Really though, I had a serious wtf moment when Rolly showed up and did a random music video halfway through.

Watch it if you haven't. The blood is fake and overdone, but come on. It's Sion fucking Sono. Everything he touches turns to epic.
Noriko's Dinner Table is probably as fucked up, if not more.

If you're a fan of Suicide Club, you should check out the director's (Sion Sono. LOVE) other movies that aren't the Suicide Club Trilogy - Strange Circus, Hair Extensions, HAZARD, etc. He's brilliant.

If you're a fan of Suicide club, you should watch "Dumplings," a movie about a lady that prepares dumplings filled with fetuses for people so that they become younger looking.  Also comes with bleeding school girls and love affairs. |
