Seriously what the fuck? I keep getting banned for STATING MY DAMN OPINION!
I got timed out for saying "The 360 version sucks" and "I hate Final Fantasy. It's a terrible series"
Those are both OPINIONS!!!!! I don't understand what's wrong.
Someone explain to me because I don't fucking get it.
This is why people are leaving 4PP because you guys are assholes.
Thank god Travis still hasn't lost his mind doing stupid shit and he's still funny and cool to watch.

You do realize that stating your opinion about those subjects usually incites console wars? Saying "360 version sucks" can often cause many people to respond "no, fuck you it doesn't." or "Fuck the 360" and chat doesn't need that shit. Just think of it as preventing something before it starts. Thats how I see it. Keep your opinion to yourself.

I understand trying to prevent the possibility of a needless flame war, but that means we can't even have an intelligent conversation about ANYTHING if our opinions can't be expressed at all...

Well, stating your opinion is fine, but the problem is when you said "the PS3 version is better than the 360". Ok thats fine if you like the PS3 better, even if there are no difference between the two. But then 2 minutes later you said it another time, then another 2 minutes later again. (maybe not exactely 2 minutes, you know what I mean) And also, its pretty easy to start a console flame war in the chat, my guess is that the mods wanted to stop the console war before it begins.

Last I checked it was their channel and they can do whatever they like with it. Either man up and deal with it (it's only a ten minute timeout after all) or move on (we'll miss you).
There are plenty of other places to chat about that kind of stuff if you really have to. As people have said, it's mostly done to prevent console wars and other stupid crap where all people do is cry and whine and flame other people which is annoying as hell to read.

btw....i think xbox sucks too and i think final fantasy is pretty freaking over rated...but i sure as hell dont need mods to crawl up my a** if they disagree with that
