Hey, i watched Toradora back in February and really like it. I'm almost done with school for the summer, so have some free time. so, are there any animes out there like Toradora? I don't care if there in japanese aslong as they have english subtitles, and length is not a problem either.

it all depends on which aspects toradora that you liked.
for me it's the characters, the light comedies and the relationship developments.
which IMO is very similar to what i like about CLANNAD, especially CLANNAD After Story.
give it a go, but keep in mind that it's originally adapted from a Visual Novel, so the mechanism is different from the one adapted from a light novel.

A romance anime about a guy who is friends with a girl but they plan to get him together with another girl... You might want to watch Video Girl Ai. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Girl_AiWhile the story elements are pretty different, it's pretty short and in the end, the two who had been trying to get him with someone else have feelings for eachother. It's about 4 episodes long. |

How about "Suzuka" it's an anime about a boy who moves into a boarding home and falls in love with a girl name Suzuka. But, Suzuka is a very stubborn girl and they always argue at each other.
Kind of similar to Toradora don't ya think?

Lovely Complex! It's really similar IMO. Both Toradora and LC are romantic comedies. Lovely Complex is about a tall girl (Risa Koizumi) and a short boy (Atsushi Otani). They're looked at as a comdey duo and cause the two fight a lot. But they become friends by helping each other get together with the person they like (just like Toradora!). But the show is all about Risa and Otani's relationship. I love LC to death. It's my fav anime. I recommend it.  |
