Far be it for me to question the mods here on the 4PP channel, but, I thought I was doing a good thing. You see:

I was doing my rounds of checking all the game channels before 4PP came on today, because I like to see what the other gaming channels have to offer. I happened upon a channel called daniel-3D & movies & sport channel, which usually plays games as well.

Long story short: I don't know WHY, but today the guy decided to put hardcore porn on there, which I'm PRETTY SURE is not allowed on JTV. I was like and in that order. Then 4PP started to broadcast, and I thought I would warn the fine citizen viewers of 4PP about this. But no later than I typed my warning...

I got a 10 min time out. My FIRST 10 min time out.

Of course then my network connection on my computer decided to go down, so I couldn't ask why I was timed out until almost a 1/2 hour later. By that time, there was WAY too many people on the channel, so my question was instantly scrolled by too fast. So, Mods, I ask of you:

Why did I get a time out for trying to do a good thing? Did someone see the word "porn" in my warning and thought I was trying to promote that channel? Because I most certaintly wasn't.

I'm sorry, but my entire post up there was about WARNING people...How is that "plugging" the channel? So I should've NOT tried to help people? Ok, alright, no problem, I won't say anything for now on, and let people see something they might find really offensive, underaged kids, whatever. That's fine. But just so you know, it's inevitable that someone else will notice something like that, and ACTUALLY try to plug it. I was trying to be the good guy.

Its like when people say do not visit 2g1c or meatspin, because no matter what people are going to go and idiotically use google to search it up. So in effect, you were actually doing the opposite of what you intended and by accident made it worse. Sometimes its just better not to say something at all. If no one else was talking about it then there really was no point in telling people to avoid it.

Ah, well thank you Cosmic, for saying it that way. I guess when I was trying to do a good-natured deed, I forgot to bank on natural human curiosity. Well, I feel kind of better now, as I can see that I might've ended up almost causing the very thing I was trying to prevent. Thanks for that, Cosmic. ;D

If you posted a link, you shouldn't do that unless you get a Moderators approval. Also one time out isn't bad, you will get many more, it just happens, there are 300 people in a chat, and moderators have confusing jobs.

Best to forget about now, a quick google link will bring you up to the channel, and it shows that it has been suspended. Next time a non-linked way of bringing this up might be better than to link it. =)

EDIT: and if someone did TO you for mentioning a site or channel while you didn't post a link, they overstepped their power. We can't TO you out with only that, but maybe I'm missing something here.

This is true, there was no link. But, like I've said, everything is cool now
