I was wondering if anybody has good suggestions for some good Japanese live action shows (that means no anime) with either dubbed English or subtitles. The categories that most interest me are Drama, Mystery, Action, Thriller, Sci-fi.

Do you like comedy too? Cause Jinnai Tomonori has some pretty funny comedy skits.

There is a drama I am currently watching called 1 Litre of Tears. You can find most if not all episodes on Youtube. I say this because some playlists have videos missing, unless they are for friends only. It's about a high school girl who is diagnosed with spinocerebellar atrophy and is based on an actual girl and her struggles with the disease.

David has recently started showing a Japanese Drama on Japancast called "Mei Sama no Shitijimu" or something. Its about a girl who joins an all girls academy where in all the students are really posh and everyone gets their personal butler. It sounds really silly but in actuality it's brilliant. David broadcasted the whole first series recently.
