In the first 100 days, in my opinion, i think this man is NOT the right person for the job. The amount of debt he has put this country in, for the future. What happened with Air Force 1, which i find completely stupid to begin with.
I looked at the money Bush used for the military, which was about 517 million dollars. The Obama administration said they would "cut it in half" so to speak, meaning it should be 250 million, but now they are saying it might be close to 530 million. Thats not cut in half
I begin to think to myself, if something bad happens, and when i say "bad" i mean a war, or a huge virus spreading, or an assassination. "what do you think he will do?"

The national debt isn't something he can just physically cut, you stupid. It takes time, which you haven't given him.
I agree, however, that the Air Force 1 photo op over New York was a complete fail.

I know for a fact, he cant make this debt go away in 4 years, nowone can make this debt go away in four years, it is going to take a lot more time, and with the way he is going, he wont get it

I also think this 100 days thing is kind of ridiculous. Let's see what he does from now until the end of the year.

if anyone thinks obama is gonna be able to do a damn thing for this country then they are mistaken.
obama will not solve any problems. he is more of a stepping stone. he will help future leaders get the country in a more fit shape.

because barely any products are made in America so we have to import them America makes a shitload of products. We are in debt because we've been spending more than we own, because we've got a nice little fiat currency that allows us to produce money. It's like GTA, if you want money, just cheat and you've got a bunch of money. Only the more dollars there are, the less they're worth. Also, other countries are investing in our bank. Things like that. As for Obama being the right man, he's much better than any of the other options. I don't think any man who would run for president would be the right man. But he's certainly the best of the candidates. |

Originally I voted for mccain/palin. But in my mind I knew that we were either going to have a first black president or first woman vice president...When Obama was chosen to be president then I said okay fine, lets see where he will take us. After the first couple of weeks I started to disbelieve a lot of the things he said but was told by my elders to sit back and wait. It's still too early to judge him, wait until december then judge his actions. As for air force 1, well that made me mad. But dumb shit happens pretty much all the time. So we'll just have to wait and see how this year will turn out. None of us are psychic.

About the budget, his plan to cut it in half is a 10 year plan. I know The Daily Show is not a totally serious show but go watch the interview with Peter Orszag, it will help you understand the budget a bit more.

I think if Obama holds up his policies and goals as well as I think he can, then great things will happen to America, also I think his overall stature as a speaker will help gain the trust of most Americans.
I mean, look at the guy. He's a freakin' rock star!
