The other day, I downloaded the demo for the new Red Faction game. I was quite impressed with it. Anyone with LIVE should definitely download the demo, as it is a game that, I am sure, every gamer can enjoy. It has sort of a Mass Effect feel to it, which I like. Now, to rate it on my system of rating games, "GCSSVP".
Graphics: 5/5. They look up to date, and I'm sure the final version graphics will rock.
Controls: 5/5. The controls are just like that of any shooter.
Story: 4/5. There isn't much on the storyline yet, but from what I've read on it, it seems good.
SFX: 4/5. The sound effects are good, but they could be toned up a notch.
VFX: 5/5. Explosions are the main VFX in this one. And, I gotta say, they look epic.
Physics: 5/5. With a game that takes place on Mars, you'd expect to see someone's body fly when hit with the sledge. Well, that happens in this game.
Overall: 9.25/10
