Post em Fools!
My question Bj from British Columbia, Canada Jtv: Bjslim With the release of the "Onlive" Gaming System next winter, Do you think that it will end the reign of console gaming, or make it easier for people who want to play video games, but cannot afford to buy consoles themselves?
PS i'm sending brad a letter with his birthday present in it.

Lately a lot of games that have been made from movies or from books, (X-Men Origins: Wolverine for example) Do you think that a lot of these games are made to just give people a taste for movies? Is this causing games to be made to cater to non-gamers? If movie games continue to get made, could it lessen the quality of future games?

Do you think you know of a game you've played at a young age and disliked, that going back to at your age now might make you change your thoughts on it?
Do you think you'd be willing to go back to this game, or these games, any time soon?
Hope you have time for more viewer questions this time.

-What are your favorite and least favorite level-up or skill-learning systems in an RPG (like how FF7 had Materia and Lost Odyssey has skill learning or Diablo 2 and the cliche' point system)

What makes a survival-horror game entertaining for you and what scares would you like to see more of?
Personally, I find subtle scares more eerie. A great example is one Nick once spoke of about a bum giving him a stare down in Condemned 2.

Have you ever FORCED yourself to like a game?
What I mean by this is buying a game you had all intentions of loving, ending up being disappointed with it, and trying to play it anyway?

Japan was at the forefront of video game development in the past, nowadays they seem to be lagging behind western developers. What are some things you think Japan needs to improve to regain their status in the video game industry?

Eric from Chicago (Atron in chat) asks~
I recently have been replaying True Crimes LA/NY and the GTA series and Saints row series (with an exception to Saints row II). And in my opinion the GTA series pretty much has no competition compared to all the other open world games. It has been almost 8 years since GTAIII was released so why do you think no one has been able to really compete with Rockstar in the open world genre. Also do you guys have any other reasonable Ideas for the developers to try and innovate the genre itself?
You guys are awesome and keep up the good work =).

Drew from Kentucky (Xerotwo in chat) I keep wondering why J-RPG companies (like Square-Enix) continue developing games that have the same basic J-RPG formula (such as a huge, evil force that has to be defeated by a group of uncanny heroes). My second complaint is how most of the characters lack something that brings their relationships together (such as not enough dialog between the characters).
Is this one reason why some J-RPG gamers criticize the lack of new styles that "refresh" the popular genre? Square-Enix, for example, took too many risks on milking their Final Fantasy series with spin-offs such as Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerberus (in which gave many mixed reactions, mostly negative).

David from Nacogdoches Tx Mystdragon in chat Do you think that the evolution of the internet, and the increase in game help in websites diminishes a game experience? Instead of forcing yourself to think outside the box whenever you encounter a difficult puzzle, do you simply go to gamefaqs or not. One step further, do you think that playing on the feed, with hundreds of people eagerly waiting to help you with every little thing and obstacle, further detract from the game? Isnt this like having a fan of the game, backseat driving you through a game?
