Any Possibility of a 4pp Community Podcast?

simple and to the point. tells we like 4pp but are only fans.

anyway, recording over skype really isn't that bad. all you have to do is check in advance everyones mic quality and make sure theres not too much background noise.

Can anyone recommend a good quality headset? I don't really know any of the manufacturers, or their faults/advantages.

logitech is really good when it comes to their head sets and pc controllers. you can get a cheap head set for about $20 at most stores and they work really well though the cheaper ones are a tad bulky.

also, lets vote on the name. like i said before, i vote for the name 4PLAYERFANCAST
if you guys can think of some names for it then cool. we can all vote on the one we like the best.

So right now I've been talking to a few people and Vensito s going to be on with me and also darknezz. i would like to have more people on here but i dont know how many considering the "impressions" take a long time. So I have already set a date for the first podcast which is next thursday at 5 pm est, 4 pm central, and 3 pm cst i think not sure exactly but its 5 pm est.

I was going to switch it around every podcast b/c i know that most people probably won't be able to do it once a week, or maybe if ppl are willing we could have 2 a week with different people. But I would like to see if moose, rabbe, mordiford, or fab could also do it that day. If you all can do it then we'll have to make impressions brief lol. these are the set ppl for the first podcast. it depends who can or can't do it. We will definately be having different ppl persay on each week depending who is available, but I don't want to make it where there are only a couple "set" ppl to do it. I'd like to have a ton of ppl on the community be on the podcast, but to have them all be on the same episode or whatever would be impossible. So right now Maybe we could start a list or something of ppl that want to be on it and then update that list every week.

I'm only picking these people because I already have their skype names, and I've been in conversation with them before and I don't want things to get complicated right before we start, as in I can't get ahold of someone so we are short a person. and if one of you guys can't do it, I can always pick someone else to go in your stead. but right now next thursday is the main date to shoot for because a lot of ppl have that day free.

It will only be maybe an hour and a half. not even sure if it'd be 2 hours. But we'll be doing the impressions which will be just what ur playing and how u feel about certain games, not anything really specific, then we'll go into detail on things going on with the forum including the art, reviews, japancast, stuff like that. and then we'll close with each of our favorite moment from this week on the jtv broadcast. hopefully if ppl listen to this podcast they'll join the broadcast if we talk about it.

would there be a set time when everyone sits down and records on skype or would it be just whenever everyone can get on? also, who will be incharge of recording it? will it just be different people doing the recording each time or will that just be 1 persons job?

oh, and i would like to ask if there could be a rule where just normal guests can't appear on podcasts 1 right after another. mods and the people behind it can but we want to try to do many different people so its fair to everyone. basically, if you appear on a podcast, you weren't be eligable to appear until after the next podcast.

yeah of course we're going to change people every podcast. I'd like to think of myself as kind of the host, but Will mainly let the other people do the talking. I'll still share my opinions and everything but I won't go into great detail, to give the other ppl time to talk. As for the "set" time, there will be a set time but only a rough estimate, likeif i say 5 pm then at 4:40-4:50 Will be to set it up mainly and talk about what more we're going to do, but its not just whenever ppl are on, if your unable to make the podcast, tell me before hand so that another member can join in if they can on short notice. there will be a little leeway on time so roughly around 5 pm est, definately not like 5:40 unless its unavoidable.

oh, i thought of this an hour ago but maybe we could try to get the chatter of the week person that david does to be a guest if they want to and meet the requirements. (have a mic and skype and have good quality) or even as a little 2 or 3 minute segment of a recording of them just going over anything else they wanted to cover.

im guessing we will try to get this up on itunes or will we do the mypodcast.com place?

i would love to do this.. but i couldn't be a regular due to impressions (if that's the focus of the show). I don't play new games often due to a budget atm. But i wouldn't mind going over news and other discussions ocassionally.
