Ever since Brad started playing SR2, i wondered if it was actually fun?, so i bought about 2 days after Brad's first broadcast of SR2, here we go
Storyline: imo, i think its good. The whole style of the game really sets in. There are some parts that are actually pretty good. Damn good if you ask me. The comedy in the game is simply hilarious, theres parts that just make me laugh, and not alot of games make me laugh in a good way. Overall, its a good story.
Gameplay: Amazing haha, it really is. I played GTA4, and hated how they put too much realism in the game, never liked it. I played SR2, and was amazed of how much fun it was. The driving is great, when i turn, my car actually goes in a direction. They even have Cruise control, which is good to use at times. The guns, melee combat, are overall good. I beat alot of side missions, and was able to get infinite ammo on 2 pistols, that were amazing. The vehicles are great to drive, and the planes o_0. This is where it got good, i went to the airport and rid the usual, the copter, the mini plane. Then i saw a jet, i looked as it came in and said "what the hell, maybe if i shoot the driver, i can get it haha" (as a joke) i shot him. Sure enough the jet stopped, "no way" i said, exact words. I got to it and went in. "holy fuck, im driving a jet!!!" haaha. Its amazing, and when you bail out of a plane or copter, you have a parachute, which is a hell of a lot better in tough situations. Overall, the gameplay is amazing, without a doubt.
Music: i absolutely love the music in this game. None of this create your own crap, alot of what GTA does, which made me never like the game first off. I looked at all the playlists, and was amazed. "holy shit, i actually know these bands, o_0 is that Aha? Take on me? FUCK YES!!!!!" haha, whether it be metal, rock, r&b, rap, indie, all of it is good. One of the best ive heard. It got me into alot more bands. Overall:stunning
The little things: you know, those type of things that make you say "cool, that actually hapens". When i put on that song from The Breakfast Club, my character started singing the song as it was playing, i was shocked at first, then astonished. The little things like that are great. The side missions are good too, whether it be escort, being a cop, racing. Its all fun. Another cool thing is that you can change your character whenever you want to. Go to a plastic surgery place, and boom, you can customize anything you want haha, you can even choose fighting styles, my guy is mexican (hey, it was either him or some british douche) and knows jiu jitsu. Crazy melee battles haa
Overall Rating: out of a 1-10 ratio, id give it a 9.8, its that good. I mean lets face it, no game is perfect (especially not GTA4, most overated game, ever) but this game is pretty damn close hahaha. From the first mission to the Last, its fun, no matter what. I finished the game, but only 56% is complete, so the content is big.
