What do you think it is that makes horror games 'scary'?

What do you think about console hacking/modding for reasons other than piracy? For example, modding a console to play imports or playing an undubbed version of a game. David might like that you can get versions of FF10 and FF10-2 with Japanese voices and English subs.

After seeing David's reaction to Madworld's piss-poor results in the market,
Do you see any future works that will be let down because of the new population of "casual gamers"? or do you think people will start to warm up more towards future games after Madworld?

Tom from Boston asks David and Brad a question:
For guys who are best friends you guys seem kinda distance. Throughout your videos Brad always seems to be facing Nick and talking to him and kinda neglecting David. The only real time Brad talks to David is when he yells at him or puts him down. So my question is: Are you guys really like this or are things different when the cameras are turned off?
I dont mean to intrude in your life, its just am observation that I made. I feel sympathy for David because he is always scolded at and left out of the conversations.

Eric from Chicago (Atron in chat) asks~
I recently have been replaying True Crimes LA/NY and the GTA series and Saints row series (with an exception to Saints row II). And in my opinion the GTA series pretty much has no competition compared to all the other open world games. It has been almost 8 years since GTAIII was released so why do you think no one has been able to really compete with Rockstar in the open world genre. Also do you guys have any other reasonable Ideas for the developers to try and innovate the genre itself?
You guys are awesome and keep up the good work =).

I played YsI&II after watching Brad play it during a broadcast, so I got to learn a little of its difficulty, and I finally remembered that I played Ys III on the SNES when I was younger, so thanks for the reminder because I couldn't remember the name before.
My question is does Brad plan on playing the other Ys games in the future?

What do you think of the future of sleeper hits such as Valkryia Chronicles continuing to be supported by the developers and publishers despite smaller fan bases then many other games?

GPink in chat, from Ontario, Canada. Nintendo has had a sordid past with regards to support given to third-party developers who work with their systems. In fact, it was revealed that most developers were not given notice about the Wii Motion Plus until the day it was announced. Given news like this, and the recent sales numbers for games like Madworld and GTA: Chinatown Wars, how would you propose to handle third-party interactions, if you were an executive at Nintendo?

Do you think that Microsoft will ever venture into the handheld market? If so do you believe that the handheld would be more like the DS (with a unique gameplay niche), the PSP (with XBox 360/XBox handheld connectivity), or something more unique?

-Everyone always asks what your all-time favorite games are, but what is the absolute worst game you've ever played? Mine is Two Worlds.
And to kind of follow up that question, what is the worst project your favorite game developer or designer has ever worked on?

Adam from London. England (adamamamamam in chat ) With more and more video game to movie transformations coming, for example Gears of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid to name a few. Can you ever see any of these really making a great move to the big screen? Or do you think video game movies will be condemned to Uwe Boll syndrome for life?

Ive noticed alot of amazing games that have been made dont get the credit they deserve. Examples are Phantom Dust (nowone even knew what that was) Advent Rising, Beyond Good and Evil, ShadowRun, UT3, Hello Kitty Roller Rescue, the list goes on and on.
What do you think it will take for people to realize that these overhyped games are literally a piece of shit in disguise? Example: Prince of Persia (the new one, ugh) Facebreaker, Halo 3, PDZ, RSV, Too Human, and again the list goes on and on
Also, when do you think Alan Wake is coming out? that game has been in production since like what...04?

This question is for all three (four if Travis is there) of you. If you had the backing of a major publisher and a great development team at your disposal, what sort of game would you direct them to create? What ideas do you have that would be fresh and innovative?
