Nice review there school. However this might be due to the fact that I played the PC but a male PC can romance a male NPC sky. Also there is only one male npc that a female pc can romance. A male pc can romance Dawn Star, Silk Fox, or Sky and a female pc can romance either Sky or Silk Fox. I did a little bit more digging and it seems I was mistaken, so I removed that paragraph. But still, I did find it a bit messed up to have a game with strong female roles throughout only to suddenly make them seem like the stereotypical submissive women when it came to that part.

At the end, it would have been cool if YOU were master Li's son instead of Dawn Star. The fact that Dawn Star is Master Li's daughter doesn't change the outcome of anything, and master li doesn't give a shit. If it turned out that YOU were his child, the game would have ended with you either choosing to kill master Li and having an epic father vs child battle, OR somehow master Li finds the good in himself and you have the choice of forgiving your father for all that he has done. One of the underlying themes of Jade Empire is that of forgiveness (Spirits cannot rest until amends are made, and the spirit forgives that person). If you were to forgive your father, then i think that it would tie the whole game together with the good vs evil aspect, and you would truly be the epitome of the path of the open palm.

I finished this game around May 1st because I really wanted to finish before the podcast that I believed would be that same day/weekend.
... yet that hasn't happened and there hasn't really been any mention of it ever happening. Is the Revival Podcast going to be pushed back to "whenever the guys finish the games" instead of "once a month," or was this just a temporary push-back because the guys were too busy with school/work/E3/Con stuff?
I still really want to hear what they all have to say since I enjoyed the game so much more than the other two revival titles. With Mass Effect out and ME2 on the way, It would be nice to hear how BioWare moved and improved between Jade Empire and Mass Effect, and how they feel about BioWare's progress to ME2 *I heard they got some closed-door gameplay of that at E3?!*
I may just be impatient, but. . . I'm still waiting! And I hope the Revivals haven't been pushed out the door, because it's probably my favorite part of 4pp, even though there have only been 2 so far. Please don't back down! It's such a great idea! You can do it, Nick! >:[

I believe only nick, and david have yet to finish it, but who knows when it will come to pass. There should be some sort of consequence if one of them don't finish the game by a certain date. that would move the show at a more steady pace. haha ;D

I was hoping for the Podcast to done pretty quickly as well. I re-bought the game on Steam just to play it and finished in in three sit downs and now am playing it on jade master mode.
Also in reply to School's second post, maybe I just didn't see it but how did Dawn Star or Silk Fox become submissive during that time. If you only romanced one of them then they just fell in love with you and wanted to be with you. I fail to see how that is submissive. Also one thing I noticed is that if you romanced Dawn Star while playing the closed fist options she actually becomes more assertive in what she wants and stands up for herself more.
Also when you go to romance both of the females at the same time it does not end with a kiss like the other endings rather they both take your hand. Allluding to the fact that you have to choose between them. They will not share the main character between them as seen in the epilogues of the characters.
However then again I just might be seeing it from a different perspective then you are.
