hello I am not sure if film students go through similar "critique" class meetings, so please don't bite my head off if I offend you or anything I really don't mean it in any ill manner.
I like the majority of the sync ups with the scenes. You did really well with the overall feeling of the video. I do feel there were some parts in the beginning half that could have used just a bit more longer shots (but not too much more, just slightly more in certain scenes) rather than quick succession of cuts. The Climax of the piece where you panned up towards the sun rays captures the meaning and intention to be a powerful scene, but a wider shot with more details vs. the more zoomed in and "narrowed" down scene in the video would've been a bit more powerful. The last shot of the girl (she's pretty) sort of felt a bit out of place, or at least that specific shot seemed a bit out of place when compared to the overall of the video. I understand it's your first independent project, and I hope I didn't lay too much on you. My opinions are by no means set in stone either, they are opinions after all. Good work, and keep it up, man.

Thanks for post. Most of what you said were actually the things I though I didn't work on enough for the video. Though I used the school's camera and I kinda didn't have more time to get more material at the time and it is kinda tiresome going around the woods with a heavy HDV camera and a tripod xD. The scene with the girl wasn't exactly the scene I intented to use but the scene I did intend to use didn't come out the way I wanted it to so I had to stick with what I had.

I like the video it was very calming and soothing. I like the shots you took up at the scenery and the music fit well with the changing courses of mother nature. It's a great artwork, I hope to see more.
