Any mmos BESIDES wow?

I'm an avid mmorpg play, currently, due mostly to school, I'm stuck playing maplestory =(

anyone else love the grind and the pvp?

Guild Wars is an MMO that does not require monthly fee, and it's a beautiful game with many expansions and awesome memories to have. There's a lot of portals, so it's not very free world like WoW, but it is an awesome game to try.

LOTR: Shadows of Angmar is another beautiful MMO with full exploration around Middle Earth, including places you've never been to, with an amazing teamwork system (you can do awesome combos with your team mates to summon ents to eagles). You can be a hobbit to an elf, and there are many classes just like Guild Wars.

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is an MMO with a more real time battle system. The game looks great, and there are great classes and class combos. Just like the other games I have listed, many customization options for your character (beards to makeup). There are many races. You can have a little clan and build up to have a huge clan with a city built by you. The fighting is epic but can be small some times, and, like the other games, there is pvp.

Runescape...well...that's free, it's very simple, some customization...eh, it's ok.

Maple Story is an anime MMO that has cute avis, but you can customize your character in many ways, and it's 2D! Check that out too.

Everquest speaks for itself. It's great, so check it out.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is also a good MMO to find more info about.

Ragnarok: Online is a pixelated MMO but is also beautiful and massive, check that out also.

i did, maple story and ragnarok and GWs. i really got into RO, i was waking up at like 3 in the morning on thursdays to go to woe. -sigh- fun memories..

Well I played a bit of Age of Conan. I only got my character to lvl 13 though before I stopped playing. I don't mean for good I just didn't feel like playing. I will go back to it though, just not sure when.

Man, I was Addicted to RO. Hell I still somewhat am nowadays as well. Just not as much.

i enjoyed maplestory, final fantasy 11, ive tried twice, but its just a terrible gme, wows the only pay one i really enjoy.

I...Have found a list. It's huge and unwieldy, but it contains almost EVERY MMO you can think of, free or pay-to-play. But, I'm seeing Hanc.o.c.k (stupid censor thing thought I was trying to swear) soon, so I'll have to post it later. But now it's in your mind, and you WANT to see the list...Probably.

I played Guild Wars for about 3 years straight, now I can touch it every once in awhile, I also bought LOTRO, but I didnt like it, most likely because I was playing on a bad computer, I might start that up again.

Lineage II.
City of Heroes. It has a great community and I just love the customisation options
Everquest 2 this is still my absolute favourite.
WoW is alright it's a good game which everyone plays that's why its so popular but I think raiding/farming purples is boring.
Oh and I recently started GW it is free so I can take as much time as I want.
