When i first saw the TGS trailer last year made my wait for RE5 longer and now it's here. The story in this game is really good and really breathtaking at some points and really interesting. The gameplay is just the same as RE4 but the new thing is the is the item selection which you do in real time which is really good IMO. Another thing i like is that you can replay any level you played before instead that you have to play through the game over again like RE4. The Graphics in this game is outstanding and the voice acting was pretty decent. (i did not know what to write on this part) Story:9.5 Gameplay:9 Design:8.9 Presentation:9.4 Overall:9.4 ;D   |

i thought this game was badass!!! i think people who think this game sucks dont like it because it didnt live up to their expectations. i played this game for so long. i never got bored of it.

A key complaint about RE5 was people saying it was too "slow".
However...those people didn't go into their control settings and change the sensitivity to fast or fastest. >.>
Truly it makes a huge difference in the action.
My only complaint about the game was boss design, one particular boss reminded me of Lost Planet (shoot the orange parts!).
Maybe Capcom got a little lazy with that one.

I did a 4 part video rant on RE5 and a video review I posted on BlipTV. I apologize in advance for the shittie microphone and overal sound. Days later I received my new one and I made a Metal Gear Solid 4 review which I will post shortly. In short, we waited almost 5 years for a sequel on a next gen platform that plays no different to the game before it. Right down to repeated animations, same set pieces, similar style bosses (Irving boss was almost identical to Salazar from RE4!) and quite frankly, I consider Dead Space to be RE5  I just find it hilarious that the company who created the friggen Survival Horror genre can't even make them type of games now. |
