Which is the one you want to watch and which is the one you like to read?

as long as they are done well, both can be very fascinating to watch. Though I would like to see a 2 on 2 battle with both weapons used.

I personally like sword fights better in anime because I like the fluidity of close range combat, guns tend to be used from a greater distance and aren't as exciting to watch.
In a manga however it doesn't really matter if both are done well.

i prefer a sword fight, it has more of a chance for some "Holy s**t!!!" moments, but a gun fight done right can pwn a sword fight.

well if they handle the guns like Dante from Devil May Cry, that would be great, but if they used the sword like Afro Samurai, then that would be better

Sword fights are way better than gun fights imo and lightsaber fights are better than both.

I find that sword fights are better because of the notion of "honor" When you fight with a gun you could be like 50feet away and kill a man without saying a word. With sword fights, you get up close and personal and actually feels your opponents emotions.

I love sword fights over anything. There are a few gun fight exceptions though, namely speaking of Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop.

I like both, but I feel sword fights are more forgiving than gun fights. Range has a real impact. >_>

i like the idea of sword fights more so then gun fights but really, i just rarely see any extremely good gun fights. i mean, its ussually, the guys shoot, then go to cover and exchange fire for a little bit till either one of them dies, or they run out of ammo and go for close combat. it jsut seems like there aren't many that can do extremely good gun fights.
anway, i love sword fights but there are so many of them that for me to get into it, it needs to do something different.

sword fights are way more enjoyable, but when they have the sword vs gun fight, it's usually pretty damn interesting.. even in actual movies.

I find long gun fights very interesting, especially if they bad guy(s) can actually aim and not shoot lasers. Sword fights can be pretty good too, especially those I've seen in Bleach, really awesome. But most sword fights are pretty cliche' as to the opponent. There will always be a guy who can *shoot* slashes, always a guy who uses elemental like attacks, and always a guy who can appear behind someone all of a sudden and the victim falls apart into a hundred pieces.

Sword fights are more enjoyable for me. I love the slashing, parrying and clashing of the blades at close range combat. A blade slash causes nasty wounds. Guns I don't really like much of them.. Bullets are too fast for me @_@;
