Alright, my friend recommended this to me since I've been trying to write my own manga. Didn't realize this was the same writer/author of Death Note till later but anyways... Bakuman is basically about to kids who want to get into the manga industry and create a series/anime with their manga. What I like I about this manga, is that it shows how the manga industry actually works, like how it is to get serialized, what a mangaka (manga writer/artist) has to struggle through etc etc. What's I like enjoy about this manga, it shows the flaws in the manga industry. For instance, it shows the flaw in Shonen Jump and the flaw in the rating system, to see which manga should actually stay serialized. This is a must read for those interested into getting into the manga industry, or for those who are curious in the industry. The story is also solid, so this is also for those who just want a good read. You can find it at www.onemanga.com/Bakuman/ . It is still incomplete and is updated every Friday basically. I recommend this to everyone.

bakuman is a good series. at first the adds i read for it made it seem like another death note clone but im glad thatit didn't go that route. the only problem i have with the series is the name. it just sounds too much like a digimons name. BAKUMON! DIGIVOLVE!
anyway, as i read it, i cant help but get this sense of reading into the past of the writer. just it sounds like a lot of the stories are based off of bast experiences of the writer. maybe im reading too much into it but it kind of adds this new layer to the whole series. get what i mean?

The funny part about when I read this manga, is that I want them to get serialized, and succeed in their goals, but knowing that that would end the manga. So I want them to succeed, but I don't so I can keep reading Bakuman. Delima >.>
