Who was the last main character of a game that really made you care about what was happening to him/her? Or just drew you into the experience more than most other games?

With dedicated music titles coming out, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Guitar Hero: Metallica, RockBand: Beatles, What band would you like to see given a specific title?
Also, would it be full band or single instrument? (example: Blue Öyster Cult game with a Cowbell Peripheral)

Do you like the new approach in RPGs where you can explore a free world such as Oblivion or FO3, or would you rather prefer a more linear RPG such as the Final Fantasy series? And explain why.
Just pasted from the 102 thread.

Question: What does the 4PlayerPodcast think about the global hype for the game Killzone2 and do you think the hype was even required?
Personal opinion: "Killzone2 is not as good of a game as people wanted it to be."

Do you think making decisions between good, evil, and neutral acts (like Fallout 3, Mass Effect, The Witcher, etc.) is going to lead future games in terms of their immersiveness, much so to where the majority or nearly all of future games will contain such elements?

Hey guys, lately I have been thinking it would be cool if any video game company made a Friday The 13th game, the best choice I can think of is Rockstar mainly because of how they made Manhunt which is along the same lines. Do you think that Rockstar could make a good Friday The 13th game? Why or why not? If not, what company would be best fitted to make it?

So im sure youve got lots of questions asking which is your favorite character, or which character would you like to see again. but my questions the flipside of that, which, or who if its plural, are the characters you cannot stand and wish to disappear and never be heard from again? my personal vote goes for the guys from army or two, because they were reprehensible asseholes who i didn't enjoy playing as.

Victor from Pennsylvania (jtv: helixfc3s):
This is the first question I decided to ask 4pp so I hope I didn't stretch out the question too long:
What is your take on gaming piracy?
Do you guys get upset or disappointed if you see or hear someone decide to download a game after a company puts months or even years of work into it?
Or do you think pirating is just an option, considering how the economy is going, because of the high price marks companies set for their games?
Lastly, do you think DLC is a viable option to prevent people from pirating?

Question(for all members of 4pp):
Do you think nostalgia plays a big role in peoples opinions of newer games from classic franchises such as Resident Evil, Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc or is it because they are really good games doing new things or is it a combination of both or none at all? What are your thoughts?
