I want to broadcast without a webcam =x, and yea, I need some help figureing out what I need. The only guides I've found force me to use my tv in standard mode instead of HD. So ya. K so I currently own a 1080p tv, and ps3, and Wii. My setup looks something like this =3 Beautiful isn't it? K my question is. How can I broadcast, and still be able to play my games in HD on the tv. I don't mind it broadcasting in standard, I just want to be able to retain the HD on my screen. I figure that it would look something like this I don't think anything like HDMI to Composite cable's exist. So ya. Maybe I would also have to buy a new cap card too? D= I dunno what I need. Haaalp D=! --Edit Probably need to add a sound mixer somewhere on that last picture =x.

I already saw that, its not what I'm looking for. I don't mind if I don't record in hd. As long as I'm able to play in hd.
Are you saying its impossible to play in HD and broadcast in standard? or play in HD and broadcast in HD?
I just want a way to stay playing in HD ;\.

Well, you can't BROADCAST in HD, but there are 2 ways to RECORD in HD. To use Component cables with the HAVA HD Recorder. OR Use a BlackMagic Intensity PRO HDMI Recorder which costs about 500-600 in the US. Google those, and youtube the HAVA, theres a tutorial somewhere.

Like I said, you can't play in HD and record/broadcast in SD if your using the HDMI cable. The HDMI Cable is a digitally encrypted streaming wire that mixes Video and Audio. It can't be sent out and broken apart into Standard Definition.

It is possible to broadcast in SD while playing in HD without an HD capture card. Use a HDMI splitter and try to find an external video downscaler (probably will run you 3-400 bucks). As far as I know PS3/360 don't use HDCP (encryption) for games.

Yea, but I don't know if JTV or FME will recognize its video format.
